Streaming royalties are not a fixed per-stream payment and can vary by platform, territory, subscription type, rights-holder and distributor agreements, and other factors. Sonke Sounds is designed for direct music sales: under the current 85/15 model, R85 of a R100 sale is allocated to the artist and R15 is the Sonke Sounds platform fee. *Before launch, the final artist payout terms will clearly state how payment-processing charges, refunds, taxes and any other applicable deductions are handled.
